Doug
Harwood obtained his Masters in Business Administration from the University
of Missouri in 1990. Having worked in the banking industry since 1983,
Harwood changed career paths through a family connection and joined
Stanion Wholesale in 1997. He attended various lighting schools before
obtaining his L.C. designation from the National Council of Qualifications
for the Lighting Professions in 2000.
Joining Mercer-Zimmerman in September 2002, Harwood manages the company's
Topeka branch, as well as providing outside sales support.
Prior to joining Mercer-Zimmerman, Harwood was employed by Stanion Wholesale
Electric Company, where he was responsible for bidding and negotiating
lighting packages for new commercial construction; order placement and
delivery; and lighting layouts for design/build projects.
Harwood enjoys spending time with his family and golfing.
